Itara

This fascinating natural quartzite, also known under the name Verde Esmeralda, offers white and off-white contrasting veins on an emerald green background, reminiscent of dark stormy waters.

Resin and mesh are added to the stone, making it safer to handle. This comes with certain limitations in fabrication, but a carefully designed project will create an elegant result. Unlike marble, quartzite will not react to acids; therefore will not etch.
